About Us

We chose ALL IN LINE as the name of our club because it simply means we are ALL welcome.  Our club is for everyone who wishes to dance and have fun.  We are a relatively young club that has been established for about 5 years.

Some of our dancers have been around the dance floor for up to 10 years or more with a majority of us having come along since the club started.
This makes for a great combination of talent and linedance experience with the ‘oldies’ passing their knowledge to the ‘newies’.

We are currently running 6 classes a week ( see classes section) with Chris teaching all classes.

Chris started linedancing in 1995-6 (I think) and started teaching about 6 years ago.

“I love linedancing! I am addicted to it. I wanted to show other people how much fun it was. It is great for keeping fit, improving our memory, staying young and meeting wonderful people. When I had the chance to start teaching with my previous club the Mavericks I jumped at it. Under Jenny’s guidance I learnt how to call the dancers and how to say ‘right’ when I meant ‘left’ and ‘forward’ when I meant ‘back’.
All the important things of a teacher.
I also picked up points from all my previous and present teachers. Stephen Paterson, Anne Bradbury and two very important people in my linedance life- my first two teachers. Twins Merreyl and Bev.  These ladies instilled in me my passion of linedancing. I can not thank them enough.”

Our mascot ‘the wombat’ has come from Chris’s nickname in dancing.
No neck, short legs, round and cuddly. But can be quick when need be.
I have and have been given over the years a great collection of wombats from my line dance friends so it was an obvious mascot for the club.
Remember ‘Wombats Rule’.
