Bairnsdale Workshop 09
A great day of dancing led by Robert Neal (Valley Jade) and Chris Herbing (All in Line)
Workshop dancers were-
Those were the days – Ian St Leon.
A great fun dance to the old song ‘Those were the days’. We all know the song, so it was fun to dance and sing along to. Inter level, 4 waller.
Women on the move - Chris Herbing & Liz Layton.
64 count, 2 wall, inter dance. Nice piece of bluesy music by Marcia Ball. Feels good to dance. Boogie walks at the end add a bit of fun. (see sheet on our web site)
Just like me – Gordon Elliott.
Back to traditional line dance steps with this one. Nice 2 wall dance that everyone enjoyed.
She’s every women. – Gordon Elliott.
Another good Gordon dance that slipped under the radar end of last year. A lovely Garth Brooks song. Very nice to dance. 2 wall, inter level
Sister Act – Chris Herbing & Liz Layton
Done to the very popular ‘I will follow you’ song heard on Sister Act the movie. This is the original Little Peggy Marsh version. Great to dance and sing along to. 4 wall inter level. A lot of fun. (See sheet on our web site)
Alone without you – Gordon Elliott.
Another lovely dance from Gordon. Done to a Backstreet Boys song ‘Show me the meaning of being lonely’. A little tricky, count wise in some areas, but worth the struggle to do a achieve a lovely ‘feely’ dance. 4 wall, inter level.
In love with a married women – Lu Olsen
What a superb dance. I would call this an advance dance but lucky it is only 2 walls.64 counts. Done to a song by the same name, this dance has style, grace and choreographed to fit the music superbly. Well done Lu. My personal favourite, at the moment.
We finished the day of with a fun social led by the handsome Robert Neal, who keep everyone dancing. A scrumptious supper was provided by the wonderful ladies of Bairnsdale Bootscooters. Thanks to Marlene for being a wonderful host and hope to see you again next year.
Chris.
